   Rebekahy, I have had to pretty much stop reading TOS b/c of the ads...  I just couldn't keep myself from checking out all the websites and gave me soooo much curriculum envy and doubt.  I have so much stuff here that I will probably never use!  I'm trying to whittle it away, but once it makes it into your house it's so hard to get it out!  LOL

   I love all the sites the rest have mentioned.  Wish I had known about the Baldwin Project and Gutenburg before I started...I know it would have saved a lot of money!  Although, I couldn't find The Vikings on either site so I ended up buying it  :-(

   I recently joined PaperBack Swap, and it's so awesome! For the price of postage I can get many, many books for FREE! It's free to join, free to "buy", and you only have to pay postage for whomever wants the books you have to offer. Then they pay the postage to mail what you want to you. I don't mean to sound like an advertisement, but it really has been helpful for us, especially since we're really trying to build our library for the future. 

   Don't ever feel like you're in the library too much. Our librarians love us and LOVE to help us! My library has probably saved me at least a thousand dollars so far!

   You are all a wealth of information.  I love all the sites suggestions and have added them to my favorites.  Also for just letting me know, that I truely have enough, that the library will love me, and that the internet has a wealth of information if I just have the time to look for it.

   Polly: my 2 boys will be going into the Delta workbooks next and the one into the Delta and one into the Primer (though I can do without this one for a while :0)) Thanks for asking!

   Thanks again everyone.  I don't know where this Paperback swap thing is ?  Also how it works, can i just look for books and then I jsut pay for postage or is it for the book and they pay postage?  A link would be great!  You are all a blessing

   Hi, Misty!  Paperbackswap is at http://www.paperbackswap.com  I've been on there several years and it is fantastic!  You get credits for free books in two ways:  Listing a book to trade and then mailing it off--average cost about $2-something a book, or buy credits (average cost about $3 something a book)  I really enjoy trading out our books we no longer need.  We sometimes pick up paperbacks at sales just to trade.  This is much cheaper even than buying a book on Amazon for a penny, since they add $3.50 minimum shipping.  Paperbacks are cheaper to mail than big or hardback books, so if you have a lot of paperbacks to mail off, you can get credits very cheaply.  I often pick up little children's paperback books at sales, even if they are twaddly, since they can often be mailed for less than $2.  Hope this helps!  We've traded hundreds of books on the site.

   You "buy" books with credits. When you join and upload your first 10 books that you want to swap, you get 2 credits. You can then use those credits to get books. Let's say you find 10 books in your house that you are finished with, don't like, are twaddle, etc., for example, Biscuit Goes to School (just using this as an example...we own this book, haha!). When you post Biscuit Goes to School, you are making it available for the rest of the book swappers to order from you. If someone wants that book, you will be notified. Then you only pay postage to mail it to them. (There are complete instructions and policies on their website.)

   Then, let's say, you were browsing the book selection on PaperBack Swap, and you found Handbook of Nature Study (good luck, I've already looked!). You would click "Order This Book." That's all! Whomever owns that book must pay the postage to send it to you. You use one of your credits to get that book. Every time you ship a book to a swapper, you receive a credit, so you're able to get as many books for yourself as you post! It's really simple!
