I'm finding some homemade ideas for a model of the Tabernacle...some are books with die-cut versions...some very pricey models to order...anyone have any recommendations or experiences to share on this project?
Thank,
Melissa

Hey Melissa,
My boys did theirs with Legos.
Richele
I just happened to have this :http://www.christianbook.com/paper-model-of-the-tabernacle/9781596360280/pd/360283. I purchased it a while back. I was so happy when I saw we would have to make a model. This will make it easy.
Great timing. I just received an e-mail from someone with a link to this homemade tabernacle idea.
Several years ago we bought one of the models and put that together. I'm really glad we did it, though it was quite time consuming. We still have it and are going to be taking it back out soon for our history lessons. I would highly recommend something sturdy that the kids can handle and examine - something that will keep for a while.
Though its pricey we purchased a beautiful model kit by The Tabernacle Place - very well crafted and sturdy. This also comes with an accompanying bible study - revealing the foreshadowing of Christs sacrifice.
