   Dear friends, would you please pray for my mom and dad? They were in a car accident tonight on their way home from Thanksgiving travels and have totaled the car. They're about nine hours from home/us. In our most recent phone call, they had found a hotel and were going to wait and see how they felt tomorrow. Right now they're just feeling sore from their seat belts (and praising God for those seat belts). Hopefully, we'll know more about plans and effects and all on Monday.

   It's such a blessing to be able to turn to you dear ones to join me in prayer. Thank you!

   Sonya, I will be praying for your parents.  I do a lot of traveling, and can only imagine what it must like to be in that situation far from your family, friends, and comfort.

   So sorry to hear that - and so glad to hear your parents are not hurt badly, still it would have been a shock.  We will keep you all in our prayers and hope that everything goes smoothly in the aftermath.  Blessings and Praise God for his protection.  Linda

    Thanks so much, ladies! I just talked with them, and they are waiting on the adjustor's assessment and the other insurance company's details. Right now there are only two rental vehicles available to them: a pickup truck and a VW bug. (They're stranded in a rather small town, I guess.) So we continue to wait and pray that Mom's sore ribs and knees will heal. We might be making a road trip to pick them up. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for your continued prayer and encouragement!

    They've located a rental car and are heading home. Please pray. Mom thinks she might have broken a rib, so pray for their stamina, soreness, and safety. Thank you, dear friends!
