Ugh. I went to our library's annual booksale this morning. Found some great finds. Apparently, I also left some great finds, too. I had Winston Churchill's six volumes (hardback, mind you) of the Second World War in my basket. I decided to take them out at the last minute. They would have cost me $1 each.
$6 for this set.
Which is worth over $200--and is apparently some of the best writing about this period in history EVER.
I'm banging my head on the desk so hard.
Rats!
THough I've done that type of thing, too! However, if itmakes you feel any better, I looked on Amazon and found some excellent prices on used single volumes (and even some new around $5. plus s/h).
